The Nautilus is a steel submarine from the novels "20,000 Leagues Under the Sea" and "The Mysterious Island" by Jules Verne from the year 1870. The today's well-known and famous form of the Nautilus appears the first time on the 1954 Disney film adaptation "20,000 Leagues Under the Sea" with James Mason, Kirk Douglas and Peter Lorre.
