WWII Panzer-Krieg: M4A2 Sherman USMC Condor
The M4 Sherman was a middle weight US-tank during the Second World War and the Korea conflict. It was named after the US-General William T. Sherman (1820-1891). It was the most produced tank during the Second World War. This special M4A2 variant is the only one with a diesel engine with two 6-71 General Motors six cylinder blocks and 375 hp. Here we offer a model (17 cm) of the M4A2 Sherman of the "Condor" C-company. These were on duty only on the island of Tawara (Gilbert Islands). This Sherman M4A2 is very high grade manufactured and absolute close to detail. It has the following special features: replaced nuts (bogies) at the running gears (the typical holes at the bogies are drilled), very high detailed and authentic T54E1 tracks and the turret comes with an absolute realistic iron cast structure. All tool mounts are very fine in detail and match perfect the original parts. All grips, light guards etc. are made from metal and not just one piece casted plastic. This tank model overmatches any other by its accuracy, richness in detail and authenticity. It comes with a noble wooden base (22 cm x 14 cm). The turret is, of course, movable.
