This special model kit of the U.S.S. Enterprise NCC 1701-D is equipped with a set of fiber optic lights and was distributed by AMT/ERTL in 1994. The kit includes over 50 meters of fiber optic and a light source to light up of windows in hull and bridge, 12 additional lamps for the warp drive, deflector dish, position lights, etc. and a mini drill. There is a battery operated power supply located inside the display stand, it can be switched on and off. A set of decals is also included.
