The U.S.S. Rio Grande NCC-72452 is a Federation support spacecraft (Runabout) of the Danube-class. The support crafts of the Danube class are in service during the second half of the 24st century to replace the missing spacecraft system of deep space stations and other space bases at the edge of the Federation territory. They are mainly used for personally and freight transportas well asexploration-, intelligence- and inspection-flights. We offer here the original model kit by AMT/ERTL distributed in 1993. The spaceship is equipped with a removable space sensor. Decals for the following versions are included: U.S.S. Rio Grande, U.S.S. Yangtse Kiang, U.S.S. Ganges. The kit comes with 44 parts.
