The Keldon class was introduced in the second half of the 24th Century and is very similar to the Galor class. The main difference is that the Keldon class is several times more heavily armed. This ship class is not only used by the Cardassian military but also by the Obsidian Order - the Cardassian Intelligence -. This fact has built up a huge fleet of these vessels, despite a treaty banning the Order of their own spaceships. Ship is armed with 8 Spiralwellendisruptoren and 1 Disruptorcanon at the stern. This means that ships of this class is a great danger for most of their opponents.
