Here we offer a Type II Hand Phaser (also called "Cobra Head") from the science fiction television series "Star Trek - The Next Generation". It is a very authentic and faithful replication of the original film prop. In the Phaser is installed a powerful laser pointer. In addition, the Phaser has a (pretty loud) sound-function. With the two gold-colored buttons can be set whether the Phaser fire with or without sound is. The large silver button is the trigger. Power is supplied via a standard 9 volt battery, which is housed in the handle. It was manufactured 1996 from the U.S. manufacturer IPI in a strictly limited edition. At the bottom of the Phaser is a metal plaque embossed with the limitation number (6885). The delivery is including a very nice collector's box that has a dark red velvet surface and a hand-numbered certificate of authenticity. The lid has two metal snap-on hinges. At the top of the collector's box is a gold-colored Star Trek logo. This Type II Hand Phaser is a particularly rare and exclusive collector's item.
