One of the most important ships of the "classic time" of the solar empire was the Marco Polo. It's commander Perry Rhodan flew with this 2,5 km wide space vessel to the galaxy of Gruelfin and into the mysterious swarm. Hidden inside the typical equatorial embossment of the Marco Polo are the engines, which are able to slingshot the ship over millions of light-years. Much bigger than the Marco Polo is the Sol, which was finished in the year of 3540 and cruises through space since 1300 years. Nearly for 1000 years the Sol was home for an own mankind, the Solarians. Hundred of thousands of it's inhabitants grew up in the 8 km long ship, they lived, worked and died there. Both of the spherical Sol-cells with a diameter of 2500 m can be detached from the central element. In there is the command center including the Seneca, the ships brain. Here we offer a set of two model kits, including the Marco Polo (78 parts, 20 cm) and the Sol (28 parts, 34 cm). Also included are four basic colors, a brush, glue, a pictured assembly instruction and the paperback novel "The great book of the Sol" (256 pages).
