Black Hole: Cygnus
In 1979 the gloomy science fiction classic "The Black Hole" was directed by Gary Nelson and produced by the Disney studios. By the cost of 20 million US$ it was a similarly expensive production to the second "Star Wars" movie two years later. The small exploration vessel Palomino meets its lost precursor, the huge Cygnus. On board are the brilliant scientist Dr. Reinhardt and his robots as crew. He wants to crown his scientific efforts by daring a risky flight through a nearby black hole. But when the secret of his robots is disclosed, he shows his true colors and the trip into the black hole seems to end in an inferno. We offer here a very big model kit of the Cygnus (66 cm). It's a very rare model kit and was manufactured by mpc in 1983. A display stand is included.
