This is the Moonbus from the legendary science fiction film 2001 - A Space Odyssey, that Stanley Kubrick filmed in 1968 after a short story by Arthur C. Clarke. The Moonbus brings David Bowman (Keir Dullea), Frank Pool (Gary Lockwood) and other employees from the moon-landing site to the archaeological excavation of the famous black moon-monolith. This model was very time-consuming and detailed made exactly as the original blueprints, which also used for the movie-props. The roof is removable and all equipment and the figures are included.
